Sanjay Patel owns and operates with a team of experienced professionals 10 properties and is actively looking to add to his portfolio. He serves on many boards and organizations that focuses on the hospitality sector and on community outreach. Currently, he is on the board of the Alabama Restaurant and Hotel Association and is on the regional advisory board of Choice Hotels. He is most proud of being the Alabama Regional Director for AAHOA where he actively plays a role in serving the hospitality industry.

Nirav “Nick” Patel started by working for Choice and IHG hotels while going to school for business management. His exceptional time management and dedication to his work had him promoted to Director of Operations for Baron Hospitality. Now he manages and coordinates the opening and set up of all Baron Hospitality ventures.

Justin Patel started from working for his family-owned motel to expanding his hospitality knowledge in the span of 10 years before being hired on with Baron Hospitality. His arduous work, determination, and wonderful customer service skills has made him a force to be reckon with for Baron Hospitality. He manages multiple brands of hotels, financial management & assist with making important company decisions. Justin keeps the operations running smoothly which has earned him the title of Account Manager.

Cherie Hinz comes to Baron Hospitality with a sound hospitality, sales, and marketing background. She was the sales and marketing director for hotels like Hilton, Indigo, and Doubletree Hotel. She has held titles such as Director of Operations, Regional Director of Sales, and VP of Sales and Marketing. Additionally, Cherie has owned her own business giving her valuable insight to the ins and outs of sales and management. Baron Hospitality and Hyatt Place Birmingham is proud to include Cherie Hinz amongst the talented professionals on their team.
Dianah Putman, Sales and Marketing

Dianah Putman comes to Baron Hospitality with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the hospitality and consulting field and in fact, has over 40 years of experience. She started her own consulting firm, (Putnam Consulting Service) in 2008. Along with her consulting business, Dianah has managed properties and was the Marketing Director for many Choice, Wyndham, and Best Western Hotels as well as for Crown Plaza. In 2016, she started working with Sanjay Patel and his team here at Baron Hospitality where she is now Head of the HR department and the Marketing Director. She is a member and is very active in a few organizations such as the Gardendale Chamber, Fultondale Chamber of Commerce, and was President of the Lodging Association for many years. Her goal is simple; to use her breadth of experience and bring value to Baron Hospitality.
David, Regional Manager
David has over 25 years of successful management, sales, and operational experience, including select and full service hotels domestically and internationally for the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and IHG brands. He is a graduate of Seoul American High School in Seoul, South Korea, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and an Associates in Human Resources Management from the Community College of the Air Force. He is a 10 year veteran of the US Air Force, and currently serves as a City Councilman in Pelham, Alabama. His business philosophy is , “Take care of your team and properties, and they will take care of your guests”
